Mary Jo Spallina, C.N.M. is a 2001 graduate of the University of Rochester Nurse-Midwifery Program. Her undergraduate degrees include an AAS from Monroe Community College, and a BSN from SUNY Brockport. She is a board certified lactation consultant and a birth educator with 20 years of OB/Gyn experience. The word midwife means to be "with women". Nurse-midwifery practice is the independent management of women's health care, focusing particularly on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, family planning and the gynecological needs of women. Mary Jo sees patients in our Brighton, Webster, and Greece offices. |
Gina Nesci, RDMS, MS, R-PAC

Gina Nesci received her undergraduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004. She worked as a sonographer for four years (including WGCA) before returning to Le Moynye College in Syracuse, NY where she completed the Physician Assistant Program in 2010. Physician assistants are health professionals who practice medicine as members of a team with their supervising physicians. Physician assistants have a wide-range of responsibilities, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting in surgery, and prescribing medications. |
