H1N1 Vaccine Availability
All three of our office now have H1N1 vaccine available for our patients. All patients are eligible to receive the vaccine at this time.

When you are seen for your Annual Exam, your provider may recommend an HPV Screening test. We encourage you to check with your insurance carrier prior to your exam to inquire about coverage for this test. Thank you.

Dr. Kovacs Is No Longer With WGCA
It is with mixed emotions that we inform you that Dr. Carla Kovacs has left Women Gynecology & Childbirth Associates, PC. Dr. Kovacs has relocated to the Seattle, Washington area with her family. Although we will miss Dr. Kovacs very much, we are genuinely happy for her and her family.
Dr. Kovacs continued to see patients through the end of July 2009. Any of our physicians will now be happy to see her patients. Please note that when we notify the insurance companies of Dr. Kovacs’ move, we must assign a new provider to her patients. We have assignied her patients to Dr. Sandy K.S. Perry, but you are free to see whomever you choose. This “assignment” is strictly for insurance purposes.

Dr. Coral Surgeon Recognized by the Rochester Women's Network
On October 15, 2008 the Rochester Women's Network (RWN) held their 30th Anniversary Gala. As part of the Gala festivities, RWN celebrated the contributions made by women leaders of Rochester. Dr. Surgeon was one of 12 women honored with the "Vital Women, Vital Roles" Award. The physicians and staff of WGCA are so proud of Dr. Surgeon for all of the contributions she makes to women's health and our community! |

Women Gynecology & Childbirth Associates, P.C. is now offering Heel Scans in our Medical Spa. No appointments necessary. All women are welcome to have a Heel Scan performed in order to measure bone density, an important factor relating to osteoporosis. Heel Scans are $20 and are not covered by insurance.
If you are interested in having a Heel Scan, please call (585) 271-0340 to schedule, or tell our receptionist when you are in our Brighton office. We will do our best to accommodate you into our schedule.
